Director Ivan Zhdanov tweeted that his son, Alexei Navalny, died of sudden death syndrome, while his lawyers visited him in the former penal colony on Saturday. Ivan Zhdanov is the director of the anti-corruption foundation.
Navalny's mother, Ludmila Navalnaya, went to the city of Salihard, where Navalny was held, and saw that the entire building was closed, and the jailers there said that he had not been brought here.
Yarmysh said in a tweet on X that until the investigation is complete, authorities will not hand over Navalny's body to his relatives, and only an hour before, the lawyers were informed that the investigation was complete and no crimes had been committed.
